Pink Saturday...

Two...

Well here they are, my two white pumkins I finally found. There wasn't a great selection, and they were only $1.99 ea. so these are the lucky guys to find a new home.
My thrift shop hopping was a dud...but I went to a gorgeous store, with the best name...
La Vintage Rue, which is located in Porterville, Ca.

I wish I could show you the whole store, its in an old building with old wood floors and brick walls...

love this look...

I bought the jar here on the desk, it was filled with old brown buttons...

and I purchased that little rusty bird cage...oh I wanted more, but you know...need more dough..lol...

she had alot of browns which made me more excited to paint my room, the problem I am having now is, have you seen how many browns are out there, I have nineteen right now, its a hard decision. Hope you are having a great Friday, see you tomorrow.

Well I had to turn the heater on for the first time, just to take the chill off...

I will miss you...

well I am off...we were in a town about 20 minutes away this last weekend and drove by a fruit stand, well they had a big bin of white pumpkins...I think I will go get a few and definitely save the seeds and plant my own. I also want to check out a couple of thrift stores I spotted, wish me luck, have a fun day.

White Wednsday...

This morning there was a little frost on the lawn...
so I snapped some pictures of garden whites...

hope your week is going good. I can't believe Halloween is this weekend, before we know it, it will be Christmas, time really does fly.

and he is here to help too!!!!! I am beyond behind, it looks as if 100 people were in my house and left all there stuff. Do you ever have those days where you just don't know where to start? Well I better get started...have a wonderful day...(I won't..lol)

Pink Saturday...

Wow, I am late posting...I was feeling a little congested last night so I took medicine and woke up about 5 this morning and took some more Tylenol night time....well, was I out I just woke up...9:30 whew that stuff is good..lol...
I wanted to show how my pink roses are doing...

they are blooming away...

look at all those buds...

I will have roses until mid November...love them!

I've been working on some Christmas goodies, faux pink candy canes and peppermints.

Brown?...

Well I am really getting the bug to paint my bedroom....and I am really liking the brown walls...
and the white bedspreads...

oooooo, I like this one, but I still need my pink...

ooooo, browns and pinks. I may just have to go for it, it is just paint.

White Wednesday...

I am soooo bummed...I have been everywhere looking for white pumpkins, but no one has them this year. I've been to all the vegetable stands, so I went on Flicker and found these...

I love to keep them up until Thanksgiving, but oh well...Hope you are having a wonderful day.
