Christmas cards...

Well if you are like me you try to take a picture for your Christmas cards...trying to get three kids to look at the same time, smile at the same time, has not gotten any easier...I wanted to take pictures then alter them and make them look antique...
being silly...

oh, this is the card they want to give to their grandpa...

after awile, I was done, so this is it...

and here it is!!! Whew, I don't have to do this for another year! LOL

What a weekend, I don't know about you, but I need to get in gear...

We have had basketball games every day, today and tomorrow also, so I am trying to sneak in last minute gift shopping. It seems no matter how far in advance you plan, time just flies by and then Christmas is here, oh well, I will try next year...lol...hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!!!

filled with the kids ornaments, which are becoming more precious because they are getting older...

the hand ornaments are the best!!! and the kindergarten ones below (you can tell they all had the same teacher)...

I remember when there were lots of presents under the tree, swords, trucks, barbies, now its on to bigger things. I have only bought three gifts, I am sooooooooo behind. Hope you aren't as behind as me.

Well the sun is shining today, its been raining for the last couple of days....and do we need it!
so here is the view from my back yard...

yea, snow in the mountains. Another storm is coming so hopefully we will get alot more snow up there...

my roses were happy for some rain...

they are still hanging in there. We had a couple of nights of freezing weather, thank God our oranges didn't freeze. Hope you are having a little sun today.

and my white tree in the living room. We are used to our very large green tree in here, so this 6.5 tree looked sooooo tiny, so I put it on my daughters tea table...

and put my village underneath...hope you enjoyed my pinks, I have really enjoyed this last week seeing everyone's amazing decor, I feel lucky I got this much done...lol..have a wonderful weekend and go visit all the pink participents.

White Wednseday...

Today for White Wednseday hosted by Kathleen at Faded Charm I am going to take you on a tour of this amazing shop named Good's Good's located in the country in Visalia, Calif. there are no signs to let you know it's there, no hours posted anywhere, everyone just knows its there and when they are open. It is nested in walnut groves and plowed fields. There is this old house which they had moved in, an old barn and a cute outbuilding. The owners live right across from this house in a gorgeous victorian. If you have ever seen the movie "Son-in-Law" with Pauly Shore, then you have seen there house. I am going to post half today and the other half tomorrow.

gorgeous fireplaces...the owner did most of the work himself, he used antique tin on all the ceilings, this is my dream home...

Is this the cutest cookie jar ever!!!!!
I got this cutie this morning...are you ready...Walmart, for $12.00. I really don't need a cookie jar, a cookie never survives long enough to go into a jar, but goodness, I fell in love!

ta da....my kitchen table, I even put a centerpiece on it...okay, don't get to proud of me, the bar behind is still full of crafts, but it's a start...

I filled a vintage basket and then put my little display I used for my banner up. Well I am off to make a dent on the bar and kitchen counters now.

It's time...

Well it's time, time for me to stop crafting for awhile...my kids are wanting their kitchen table back...lol...poor things, they have been eating at the counters or squezzing in amoung the glitter...

I know you all now what I am talking about...lol

I'm Back...

Oh, it seems I've been gone forever!!! I started looking at everyones blogs and I missed soooo much. Well I am upgraded, but actually it feels like downgraded...when they go thru your computor programs are lost, have to find the disc...(yeah, like I can find anything) and reload. My photo editing is gone, and I don't even know how I had that, so now I am learning a new one...aghhhh...I am a creature of habit, so I have a hard time with change...but onward. I decided this year I didn't want to put up my big tree, 10ft high and assembled branch by branch, so I went to wallmart and bought a 6.5 foot white tree, cheap, only $39.00, then I went to Rite Aid and bought a little 3ft white tree for $9.99. I am still decorating the bigger tree, but am done with the little one, I love the white with my vintage ornaments...
