Where Bloggers Create and Pink Saturday...

I am joining Karen's fabulous "Where Bloggers Create" party, how exciting to see everyones creative spaces!!!

and I am joining Beverly's Pink Saturday.

So here we go..when I was a little girl my best friend had this little playhouse, we had the most fun ever!!!!  And I always dreamed of having a playhouse, well I finally got one and I love it!!! Its a place I can create and share with my children, so they can paint, draw and create anytime they want.  The cottage was built this January and I have been playing ever since...so on with the tour...WARNING...this is long, you may want to get a snack and drink...

the cottage is separated into two work spaces by a half wall...as you walk thru the door this is to your left, we will start there and go around...

this is the storage units I covered with pretty drapes, they store the items I have in my shop and treasures yet to be listed...

                

I love this table with all my favorite colors, I finally have room to sew, I just need to find some more time...

where I paint and take pictures of the items for my shop...I used to have an inspiration book where I would cut out pictures and save them, now I just glue them on the wall so I can see them everyday...

Blue...

Saturday was my daughters dance recital...

I love going, she did a beautiful job, I think she just loves all the flowers you get...she also wanted to know why I didn't show her fairy garden that she made...I told her because it was Pink Saturday so I would show hers after...

I had this metal terrian for two years, you know those clearance sales, you have to buy it because its soooo cheap and one day you will use it...

this little fairy was from the Dollar Tree, it was pink so I painted it blue for her...she found the cute puppy in my stash and used clear and light blue glass beads for her river...

she also found this bird in my stash and she put a faux tea light in it...I think she did a great job...did you make one?

Fairy garden...

Remember this cute fairy garden from the garden walk I went on...

so sweet...I really have been wanting to make one, but I though I would start out small....

                                                  I already had this cute bird house...

I filled the bottom with gravel...

then put baby tears and made a gravel path...

added a sweet pink fairy...

sweet vintage birds, buttons and forget me nots...

the fun thing was I just used treasures I already had so all I bought was the baby tears...

so I know what you will be doing this weekend!

Herbs...

I thought I would plant some herbs in pots to put by the bbq...

some pots and everyones favorite chalkboard paint...

I painted some rectangles...

some herbs...

all done and soooooo simple.

Pink Saturday...

Happy Pink Saturday...

well I have alot of vintage pillowcases with no mates, of course all with pinks in them, and I was wanting to fluff up my patio...

here is the little couch with the outdated pillows, they are still in good shape and well there free...

so I put the pillowcase on them...

and just folded it over...ta da...no sew...

I think it looks so much better...that I kept going...

Well my middle son graduated 8th grade last night...sigh, went by toooooo fast...

being picked up from school in this gorgeous vintage Camero.  A tradition my husband started with my older son...I think he drooled on the seat...lol...

ok, I got teary eyed...

here is the sign behind the field.  The high school graduates tonight and the Valedictorion doesn't believe in God so she didn't want to hear a prayer before her speech.  Well she protested...a tradition our little school has done for 100 years, and she won.  Its a law, and our school was threatened with lawsuits.  So students put this sign up and who knows what will happen tonight.  But no one said the Jr. High couldn't pray...so we had a nice blessing.
