White Wednesday...

I am soooo bummed...I have been everywhere looking for white pumpkins, but no one has them this year. I've been to all the vegetable stands, so I went on Flicker and found these...



I love to keep them up until Thanksgiving, but oh well...Hope you are having a wonderful day.

    I had to spray paint to make my pumpkins white! I am thinking about trying to grow some white pumpkins next year!

    Wow, no white pumpkins? You know you can paint an orange one, if you're so inclined and want to go through that trouble. Those pictures are lovely and I'm so glad white pumpkins have become popular.

    very cool pics. i am noticing more white pumpkins around this year than ever before (in RI, anyway). i have 2 minis but my big pumpkins are still good ol' orange.

    The only place I've seen white pumpkins are in bloggerville. Haven't run across any in my area. I was thinking of getting out the ole heirloom white can o spray ;)

    Hi Stefanie,
    love your white pumpkins pics. Can't find them in Italy either so had to make do with some whitish goourds and light orange/yellowish ones just to give my home a sense of Hallowin. However, Halloween was "imported" in Italy only in recent years so we do not really decorate our homes. Kids do go to Halloween parties though.

    I haven't been able to find white pumpkins either??? I just love them, something so magical and whimsical about them. The photos are gorgeous and they make me yearn all the more for a white pumpkin...sigh!

    I know...I've been having the same problem..no white pumpkins!! So I painted some...not quite the same, but they'll do!! These photos are gorgeous!

    My garden nursery had nothing last year. I was bummed because I walked away from some white pumpkins at a place in Michigan. This year they had them but they were a weird gray/white!! Walked away again! I have a fake one from Michael's that I am going to put out! lol!!
