Pink on the brain...

Isn't this dresser beautiful..oh, I could of just cleaned it up, but well you know me...

that just wouldn't work...

I thought since it was going in my craft cottage, I might as well paint it pink...

why take the hardware off, I just painted that too...

after it was all pink, I went and sanded all the edges and the hardware for that worn look...

and here it is in its new home...ready to store all my vintage linens!
I am joining The Shabby Chic Cottage for Transformation Thursday...go by and get inspired.

  6. It is pretty in pink and fabulous in your craft cottage. I saw a similar dresser in an antique mall yesterday and SO wanted to bring it home but there is just no place in my house for it. Now after seeing yours I want to go back and get it (I can always find room, right?)

  13. Oooooooooohh. I'm loving the pink makeover on your cute dresser. What a fun peice to add to you craft room. I see dressers very similar in style all the time when I'm out antiquing and I always wish I could buy them and pretty them up just like you've done, but sadly, I just don't have any more room left in my house for more furniture. Although, now that I think about it, I could use something like this as a TV stand in my family room. Hmmmmmmm.. Maybe it's time for some more shopping :-).

Have a great day and thanks for sharing your wonderful makeover.

  16. Fun! I don't get to have much pink in my house full of boys, so it's always good to get a dose of it in blogland!

    Great job!
