loving....

I am really loving this...I had a consultation from Jennifer at The Old Painted Cottage, she had some amazing ideas for me...her home is soooo gorgeous...so I am going to redo my family room...which is hideous!!! and use her ideas and some of yours, and I will throw in a little of mine.  We will see what I will get...

this is over at Deco Chick, she has a tutorial, I love this look and it is so cheap compared to beadboard, go look and see this amazing wall...

I like a little of the pottery barn look...

with a little bit of romance...

there are so many styles its so hard!!!

I have cleaned out all the assories and took them to my booth...as soon as they sell I am off!!!!

  3. That wall looks fabulous. I'd love to do beadboard or something like this in my dining room area. It would be so nice to break up the floor to ceiling painted wall a bit and add a bit more charm into the room. Maybe someday!!

  4. A Family Room re-do! How exciting is that?!? But remember, no matter how you dislike its present condition, gotta' take "before" pics. Even if you don't choose to show them to us.

Do it even just for yourself. It will really show you how much change you have made, when the changes are done. :-)

  13. Oh my gosh, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I love that look. I think beadboard would be gorgeous.

I hope you sell big today and can start your redecorating soon. It's so much fun to work on a new project and have a beautiful room as the result. I am still working through my kitchen and dining room... then on to the living room.

Wow... takes time, money, and elbow grease.

Good luck and lots of fun to you!

  14. Hi there! I am soooooo behind in the world of blogging. But had to come catch up with you. How stinkin' cute your kids are - young and old! It is amazing how quick they grow up . . . where do the years go.
Love these shots! Yeah, that bedroom is looking soft and romantic . . . does anyone's room ever really look like that? I mean - for more than a few hours until there is laundry to fold . . . you know.
I'm anxious to watch your progress on your family room. Another suspenseful adventure with Stephanie - just like all the waiting I had to do while you built your cute little studio. Sigh. I'm up for the challenge. Maybe you'll motivate me to doing our living room . . . it's just a hard room. It's all windows! Ugh!
    good luck!
