photo fun...

I was taking pictures this week and decided to try this button on my camera that reads "color accent".  It was really fun...I am soooo in love with old windows and doors...

how could you EVER repaint a door this beautiful...


sooooo pretty, I love the reflection in the glass...


the color accent just leaves the green...


pretty blooms...

  8. Very cool! I don't have that effect on my camera. :( Oh well, I can always do something fun in photo shop! lol You asked me about beadboard. It can get expensive if you buy the wood sheet panels...they are about $33.00 for a 4 x 8 sheet. You can buy wallpaper that looks exactly like beadboard, just not quite as durable, for less. OR Lowes has prepainted panels that look like beadboard that are a lot cheaper made from fiberboard.(or something like that) If you're going to use it in a place where there's not water, you can use that. If will swell up if it's used around water. (ie like around a bathtub or shower) Otherwise, it looks like it and is cheaper. It's painted with a shiny paint, so I would re-paint it, unless that's the look you're going for. :-)
    Hope that helped! The board and batten stuff I did was pretty cheap too...lattice pieces are CHEAP! lol
