a little thrifting...

You guys are so sweet!, thanks for the well wishes for my "little one", haha, it was my seventeen year old, he had a sinus infection that was making his ear hurt...he still is my little one.  Well I went thrifting and didn't find anything but there was a estate sale, in the week? I went by and found this little round table and super, I am in love with, little cherub!!
Ok, I hope you don't start feeling sick when you look at these pictures, due to the horendous carpet, to think twelve years ago I thought it was the best color ever!!!!
Oh, I need to win the lottery so I can change it.

look at how sweet she is!!!

up close...

I bought this table and repainted it and sanded the edges, I was going to put it in my booth, but, well its just to pretty...
eeeeekkkk green carpet...

I am thinking of adding a chair, what do you think, love suggestions.

  3. Oh...the table is gorgeous. I'd love to have that as a side table, but it would look great with a chair next to it where it is! The cherub is adorable!

  5. The table is cute and TWO chairs would look fantastic in this particular space because of the nice arrangement you have on the walls. Better yet chairs that has slipcovers with ruffles.... would be a Big Wow factor!

    Enjoy your Day Stephanie*

  6. I love your table and the wall decor! Playing off the wooden candlesticks, I think it would be nice if you could find some old barnwood, shabby-like, and make it into two small but tall bookshelves...one for each side of the table. I wouldn't have them too tall, just a little taller than the table. Then you could add more finds in the shelving and on top of the bookshelves.
Or, a ladies rocking chair on one side with a quilt rack on the other!
Gee, you have lots of options...

  7. Oooh! I just adore your cute little angel with the swans! So cute! And I really like your arrangement on the walls, too. Your table is gorgeous, and would look wonderful with a chair to the side. One with a cute little flounced skirt and coordinating pillow would be soooo pretty!

  10. What a cute figurine! I love the colors in it.

Yes, you need a chair for your charming table.
I have the same problem when it comes to finding and redoing something like your table.
It's hard to let it go. I usually keep it for awhile until I'm ready to let it go and then off it goes to my booth!

  15. I know you can't keep it all (I have an antique booth, also) but some things you just have to keep, right? That's surely one - great finds. :) Nancy
