chair...

I went to a ladies shed yesterday, you know, where they say they are getting rid of everything, and then.....
they don't want to sell anything...lol...or...
they want $400 for a dresser that is missing parts and has been in the shed for thirty years...hahaha!
I did find a couple things,
one is this chair, I swear, I think it is beautiful!!!!!

I love the cross on the back!

and the worn burlap!

swoon!!!

but of course I can't keep it, I have no!! room,

so, I am going to take it to my booth to see if anyone see's the beauty that I see, and falls in love!!!!

so, should I leave it as is?

or tuck some succulants into the holes,

for a garden chair?

wedding signs...

I had a request to make some wedding signs...

this is the inspiration photo she sent me...

isn't this a great idea?

she supplied the paint in the colors she wanted...

painted an old frame, distressed it and added the burlap inside....

piece of old fence, and used construction glue and glued the plate and vintage silverware onto it...

this was a fun thing to do!!!!!

I just had to share with you this hutch I painted,
it is in pistachio green, reminds me of a Martha Stewart green...

sorry no before's, I wasn't thinking...lol...

heavily distressed...

I painted the inside old white...

and added some pretty glass knobs,

just took it down to my booth,

now to fill it up!

lampshades...

well I have been seeing all these super cute hanging lampshades, and thought I would make some too.
you just need an old lampshade and strip all the fabric off, they sell hanging light kits at Home Depot, and your imagination...

this one I just used a vintage petticoat for the shade...

and for the burlap lover, I just weaved this strapping...

super easy!!!!

I have an arbor I put up last Mothers Day, its right next to my mystery roses ,
so I thought, maybe they can climb, well here they are, they are soooooo heavy they droop a little...
