Holiday Recipe Swap...

Today I am joining Karri for her holiday recipe swap...click the icon on my sidebar to visit and get lots of recipes...
this is the area in my kitchen that I do my baking, I love making cupcakes and cookies for the kids...all from a box of course!!..lol...

This is a recipe that I have not named so feel free to call it what you want. It is so easy and is served cold, so its great to take to parties or classrooms...this recipe makes three loaves...two to take and one for your family to eat.

You will need...
one package of Bridgeford's frozen bread, three pack
one 16 ounce package of dry salami
one 16 0unce package of montery jack cheese
1/2 stick butter-melted
garlic powder-use to your taste
parmesan cheese
flour for rolling out dough
Preheat oven to 35o
first thaw bread, use instructions on back of package...when ready, roll out dough as shown...

line salami...

then put cheese on, you can grate it or slice it, whatever is easier...

then fold dough over and pinch and seal seam...

form a circle...I do this so if you want to give it as a gift without slicing it, it fits in those large cello bags, then tie with a ribbon and add a tag...

spread melted butter with garlic in it all over it, then sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake in preheated oven 350 for 20 to 30 mins till golden brown.

mmmmm, smells good. Let cool and keep those kids away.

when cool slice and they are ready to go. Put them on a plate or in a cute basket. You can add more ingredients to suit your taste...enjoy!!!

White Wednesday...

Today is White Wednesday...and here is the story of the Three Little Pumpkins and the Lonely Play yard, where dust, dirt and spiderwebs now live...it wasn't always like that, there was a time when... the three little pumpkins would play in the playhouse...

and could swing for hours...higher, higher...

and spin and spin and never get too dizzy...

and climbing trees was the best...

twirling around...

playing in the club house...

it used to be sooooo high...

but now the Three Little Pumpkins are on to bigger things...

shooting hoops...

and the worst, driving...do they miss the play yard, does the play yard miss them?, or do I just miss them playing out there for hours...
