well I finally redid the other soffet in my kitchen...
if you want to see the other one click here....

had this old tool box, just used Chalk Paint and distressed, some old silver trays...

old basket and of course some aqua jars...

and my new find, an old milk crate, I may leave it empty, or I don't know...
some linens? I am trying to cut back on to much frou frou.
what do you think?

  1. LOVE the wallpaper!! And your display is gorgeous. Cutting back on frou's so hard, I hear ya (I am too)but it's soooo hard when you have so many things you love and want to display. I have always had a "motto" when it comes to decorating..."if it makes me smile, it gets displayed" OK my cheeks hurt..time to pass some things on I think ;)

  2. I have an old crate just like that one I painted 'flower garden' on in green and plant geraniums in it on my deck rail. I stuck an old antique waterin' can by it and wa~la!!!

BTW: I just adore your frou frou!!!

God bless and have a delightful weekend sweetie!!! :o)

  3. Yes - I love it! Perfectly romantic country - my style indeed.

  4. Your wall paper is gorgeous!! Your vignette is very pretty!

  5. I vowed I would never wallpaper another room, but when I see yours, I think I may change my mind. Very pretty!

  6. I love the silver trays in the tool box! Such a lovely juxtaposition. But my question is? Can one really have too much frou frou?

  7. All I can keep looking at is that wall paper--I love it!

  8. Love the new look! The milk crate is wonderful, maybe you can put it on it's side and display a bigger piece inside?

  9. This wallpaper is fabulous. I was in love with it from your first soffet post. Your soffet decor is perfect - not too much fou-fou. My motto is if love it, keep it and enjoy.
