garden

I have been working in the garden, dreaming of Fall weather, it's still in the 100's,

I pruned everything WAY back,
and planted some white mums...

this rose was pruned last Saturday, look how much it has already grown!

I added some black bark that I got from Lowes (I had to get some more and they had a huge section of clearance plants for .75 cents...go check your Lowes)
and some pretty solar lights from Walmart...
for $3.50

aren't these soooooo pretty, they are glass!
can't wait to see what the look like at night, even if they don't light up alot, they sure are cute!

  2. Your lights are really neat! It looks like a crystal tumbler! White mums are always striking! Wow I am amazed at the temperatures people out West and down South are still touting! I guess I'm lucky up here...enjoying our comfortable temps. Your pictures of the flowers on the side are all gorgeous!

  8. It's still hot here too, but the mornings and evenings have been cooler. Your mums are pretty. I usually don't plant them because they don't last very long at my house. Your new solar lights are very pretty. You should've included a night shot of them! I love lights beside a walkway among the flowers.
