Fun...

I love to solder, it is sooooo fun. Now I am not the best, but I really enjoy it....
Since today is a holiday and the kids are out of school we are going to the movies to watch "The Book of Eli" it looks really good...I will let you know. First thou we are going to the Dollar Store to buy hygien supplies for the homeless. One of my friends runs that part of the church and I thought it was a great idea for the kids to give back. Have a wonderful day off!!!!

  3. Such pretty soldered pendants. I'm guessing I would like to someday give that a try. Is any foul smell when actually soldering? Just wondering...hate funky smells.

  4. So nice of you to take time out of your day to give. If we would all give a little , somehow , everyday the world would be a better place.

  6. Stefanie ..I love to solder too ..I'm not that great at it either ..however I have realized that the cheap soldering iron I purchase was a no no and It really makes all the difference I understand to have one with a thermostat thingy on it ..so you can keep the temperature set. Anyhoo ..I think your pieces look Great !!!

Hope the movie was good .I haven't heard of that one ?

And I love your idea of having the kids give back ..that's such a smart thing to teach them !!!

Have a Most Beautiful Evening ...

  7. I have just started doing a little soldering. I'm having fun with it but get easily frustrated because I'm too much of a perfectionist. Your pieces look great. I love the images that you used.
