Pink on the brain...

Isn't this dresser beautiful..oh, I could of just cleaned it up, but well you know me...

that just wouldn't work...

I thought since it was going in my craft cottage, I might as well paint it pink...

why take the hardware off, I just painted that too...

after it was all pink, I went and sanded all the edges and the hardware for that worn look...

and here it is in its new home...ready to store all my vintage linens!

White Wednseday...

I have Spring fever...of the "I wants"...

like everyone else, I am in LOVE with ruffles...

so dreamy...

is there a limit on how many ruffles you can have in a bedroom...

 I am always dreaming of this bed...

but..

I need one of these outside or I better start sewing!!!!

I love Easter eggs, especially the pastels...

Pink Saturday...

For this Pink Saturday...and probably alot more...I have pinks from my garden...

these snap dragons have just GROWN...

I planted these last year..they never died.  They just stayed small and green through the winter, but with the rain and sunshine, they have just grew...the tall one in the back is 4ft tall...

I really am enjoying these...I just bought them at Target...

 I love pink roses...

Mess...

Excuse my mess for awhile...I am having my blog worked on...

Karen does all this fun, beautiful things for your blog...I really wanted to have bigger pictures, you know being in your forties....can't see small stuff anymore...well, she does that...soooooo easy.  She also has free tips, and gorgeous backgrounds...go check her out!!!  So, I will be redoing my background and header..but thats part of the fun of having a blog.

Ok, I have a problem...if I go to a store and there are these paint samples...

I am grabbing them up!!  Why, don't know, its not like I am going to paint all the colors I bring home...oh, and this is just a small sample of them...

I love the greens...

and the pinks...is it just because I am a dreamer or is it just the thrifter in me...well, they are free...haha...don't know, just wondering if anyone else does this.

Hi Sweet blogging friends, I want to pop in and apologize for not being a good blogger lately, I have been so busy, that I haven't been able to visit...

I have been moving stuff into the craft cottage, whew...so much is in my washroom...that when I finally get it cleaned out I will be able to walk thru it.  I also joined Miss Rhea's Easter basket swap, and I always wait till the last minute, but usually thats when my good ideas come...here are some sneak peaks...

the front has flaws but it made me love it more...

With the warmer weather, I am sure everyone is dreaming of Spring clothes...well I am one of them...but, of course I am trying to loose weight (what else is new...lol) so to motivate me, I have been looking at things I would love to wear...

I am in love with this blouse...

and would love to wear all the peasant skirts...so I have been really good, its not like I eat tons of food, its just I don't eat and then when I am hungry I pick the worst stuff like chips...sooooo yesterday I was doing a client...oh, yeah, I never told you that I am a hairdresser...anyhoo, as I was walking her out, my daughter comes outside...(my shop is at my house) and says "Hi"...

she says "hi" and then....tells her " I have known your mom for along time, back when she was skinny"....aghhhhhh, I can't believe she said that, ok, to think it...but....oh well...
