she is a wild one...
she puts on this gorgeous display once a year...
but will still have rose through out the season...
she has almost covered our chain link fence around our backyard...
view from behind the yard...
over the arbor to the play yard...
so many blooms...
she is a fast grower but has to be tamed twice a year with a hedger!!! Hope you are enjoying your pink weekend

I had a Cecil Brunner in NM and it was crazy gorgeous! I am wondering if you were able to start other rose bushes off the main plant or did you just buy a zillion rose bushes? I forgot how beautiful this one is and am thinking I need to plant one by our chain link fence. I will have to check the zone rating as we are pretty cold.

Absolutely breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteMost lovely. I'm not participating in PS today, as I am at the hospital with my Mom. She is not doing well, and won't be with us much longer. She will be pain-free and walking with the Lord very soon. I will miss her terribly, but know that we will be together again someday!
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed weekend,
Rebecca

My, my, she is a show-off isn't she? I don't blame her though, I'd show off if I was that beautiful too.

Oh Stephanie, Your roses are absolutely breath taking. I would love that along my property. It would be a fence telling some of my neighbors that my back acre does not belong to their house that they bought thinking it did. It is also not the a public park. We have two acres and when we keep it mowed, it definitely looks like a park. When we built our home it had farmland all around us, but not anymore. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful sight. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI have one of these too! I just love it. So glad you are feeling better.

All I can say is WOW!!!! I have never seen a rose display like that. I love it, thanks for taking these photos.
ReplyDeleteStefanie, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who doesn't table scape! When I had 3 teen age boys and a baby, the food hardly even made it to the table and then I'd hear those dreaded words... "Is this it?" :)
ReplyDeleteMy goodnessm what a display - and to be able to train over an arbour as well, magic! What glorious roses.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!
Hi Stephani!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your sweet congrats! Its all pretty exciting!
I think the mag will hit the newstand the first week of May some time.
I hope you will be joining us for the Where Bloggers Create party in June!
Your rose hedge is to die for!!!! I have no luck with roses. The aphids and the powdery mildew always seen to win!!!
Have a great week,
