old drapes and velcro...
well, I moved these storage shelves from the gargage to the craft cottage...ugly...but so much nicer, I can actually find what I am looking for...
so, I put the velcro on the shelf...
and on the back of the drapes...
and stuck it on, soooooo easy...
I added a sheer in the middle...
and...ta da.. now it looks like a pretty closet...
isn't that so much prettier...I am hoping to have the cottage all done by the middle of May, so I will have a big reveal...thank you all for all you supportive comments, they mean alot.
Great idea! So much prettier! Have a sweet day!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! I hope you don't mind if I use this idea in my laundry room. I have the same problem with our storage shelf. Thank you for inspiring me!
ReplyDeleteHi Stefanie,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your question. Yes, unfortuately, you do need to dead head to reap the benefits of new blooms or they will just sit on the stem. However, its well worth it as they are show stopping as a cut rose.
Another rose I like that is very low maintenance is the " Knock Out Roses". They are not a great cutting rose however, but they look stunning and bloom all season long.
Good Luck Stefanie :)
PS, love what you've done with the drapes!!!!
Jo-Anne
I tried to do that to my husband's work area but pink was not his color - greasy hands and all....lol! But I think you did a wonderful job of a disappearing act you can live with! Jennifer jennsthreegraces
