  1. Well, if it were mine...and trust me, I wish it were!! at least for Fall, I would fill it with pumpkins. I would use the fake ones so they don't rot...but maybe you could seal the real ones. I would put a burlap bow on the side of the handle...later, I have seen them lined...if you don't want to keep filling it....it is fantastic!!

  2. I found that EXACT shopping cart for $3.00!!!! To see what I did with mine go to http://daranger911.blogspot.com/2011/06/my-container-store.html . I wasn't sure I wanted to give it up, but my daughter is loving it. Good luck with yours!

  4. I think paper bags or plastic(if u use them) from the grocery store....or if u have converted to bringing your own cute bags...thats good too.

That way it is cute...yet serves a purpose as well.....or a laundry hamper is what i use mine for :)

  6. My favorite way to re-purpose them (besides using them at flea markets...they'e the best there) is to put rolls of wallpaper in them for you crafts...I have a couple of these so am hoping for some great ideas to come in, too!

  7. Oh Stefanie, I love it just the way it is...and I think it looks perfect in that spot. I don't think you want to put anything in it...You have to have it ready to go when you go to the flea market, no? ;-) Have a wonderful weekend.

    Hugs and Kisses,
    ♥Ana

  9. I would love to find one. During outdoor rummaging season I would be using it and fill it with treasures as I walk about. I would line it with a cotton or linen bag with a drawstring or fold over top so no one could see my treasures when my attention was on what to add next.
Off season, I might use it as an umbrella stand, or put a plastic storage box in the bottom and maybe even a tall plant or tree? Make it a laundry hamper. There are a million ways to go.

  10. I have one too! Got mine at a garage sale across the street from my home for 2 bucks! I folded up a stack of my vintage table clothes in assorted colors and placed them in it. I really like the idea of pumpkins for fall...I gotta try that!

  11. I want one too. You might not like my suggestion and you've had so many great ones already, but my first thought before I read any of these was lining it with a garbage bag and using it as your kitchen garbage. How easy would it be to wheel to the outdoor trash can for emptying and a cute way to camoflouge the garbage. A gift wrapping station would be cute too, or lining it with a muslin bag for organizing would be great. There's my 2 cents of practicality for what it's worth. Can't wait to see what you decide!

  14. Lucky you!! Vintage linens, tablecloth. etc would look great folded inside. You could change out the colors to suit the season. What ever you do with it will look awesome!! Perfect spot you have it in ♥

  15. Great piece. I use mine for my shopping at Warrenton/Round Top. When I am not shopping with it I use it my workroom for fabrics.

  16. Love your fabulous flea market cart. It looks like it would love to have some burlap or a vintage grain sack inside. Of course, seasonal items would be great.

  18. hmmm ... my first pre-coffee thoughts: rolls of craft or wallpaper or spools of string or grapevine balls?

knowing your style, you will come up with something wonderful or simply leave it as-is to show off it's lovely wire.

  19. There are some great ideas here. Mine is not vintage, but I think all those wallpaper, fabric and wrapping paper rolls may have to go in it! A canvas or burlap liner would help. Have a blast!

  20. Hi Stefanie,
I am loving your new cart as well. If it were me, I would put vintage grain sack pillows in it! I have a pillow obsession, so I'm always looking for places to put them!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog the other day and for your lovely comment!
    Have a great week.
    Sincerely,
    Melinda

  21. How about a silver tray on the bottom, holding a pillar candle, that casts really cool shadows. Sorry, I'm a candle addict. lol

  22. I have two...I use one for loading and unloading stuff for my antique mall booth. We are having an outdoor wedding party in the garden in September and I plan to use them as the trash receptacles. They will be lined with brown paper leaf bags. It would be fun to keep all your rolls of gift wrapping paper in. I love the look of yours!
