I wanted white and had fallen in love with some from JC Penny's...
but they were $99.99 for a 20pc set,
to much...
they went on sale for $59.99, but I can wait...
$39.99, getting better...
went back and looked in the clearance...
and they were $19.99 and I had a coupon,
if you spent $100 you get $20 off,
so I bought five sets for $80
not bad for 120pcs...
here is the progess I have done on the open cabinets...
I removed the doors and filled in the holes from the hinges,
and added some beadboard wallpaper...
I am going to do one shelf at a time, so I can put the dishes back in...
I can't believe how much bigger it looks!
I am joining these parties...
I love a good deal...and wow did you ever get one. The dishes are lovely. I also decided to go all white in my white cabinets. I love the look and yours is just beautiful with the bead board as a background. Thank you for sharing. Enjoy the Day! Bobbie
ReplyDeleteWhat a DEAL on your new dishes - excellent!
ReplyDeleteI have issues with dishes (as in I have enough to serve the entire state, lol) Matching, unmatched, small sets, large sets. Oh my.
The only thing that slows me is that they must be obtained (as you said, lol) at a frugal price! Otherwise it spoils the fun of it lol
So three cheers for your new sets and I can easily imagine how lovely they are going to look in your open cupboards. What fun.....
Super great deal on your pretty and new white dishes.
ReplyDeleteLove the beadboard wallpaper and can't wait to see the finshed look!

ReplyDeleteGlad you liked the molding on my mirror...I couldn't believe how much difference it made in such a short time. The whole thing took about two hours...that's including installing and the painting too! :) woo hoo!

Boy you were lucky for that one..usually they would have been gone or only some of it..They are divine for sure..I had just been wanting white to..found as set of eight soup bowl creamy white with a similar design at the good will. And they were 99 cents each..Now I just need to find some dinner plates to match. great deal...

ReplyDeleteWhite dishes are the best! While I'm deciding what to do with my darling burlap bag you gave me, I used it to make my pantry look cool {because I just reorganized everything.} If you want to see it, pop over for a look:
