new little tree...

here is a picture of my new little olive tree....

I was lovin' the look of a tree in this old galvanized cooler...

so I went and bought an olive tree, I grew up on an olive ranch where we had forty acres of olives, it was a great place to play, I thought I would take a chance and see how it would do inside...

I have had it inside for about two weeks now, and it is doing great!!!!

see all that new growth? its grown about 2"!!!
its so cute!!

  1. That looks perfect in that cooler!I am not so good with inside plants.Yours is looking fantastic!

  2. What a pretty little corner! Your galvanized cooler looked wonderful with a Christmas tree planted in it, and just as lovely with an olive tree. It's a nice piece of family history for you, too.

  3. Love olivetrees, but they don`t like it in my house. Have tried four, and they all failed. Hope yours does great.

    Have a nice day

  4. Love it...and it looks perfect in that container...

  5. Oh it's such a cute little thing! I love the galvanized 'planter' -- looks like it has a great, sunny spot and is taking to its new home!

  6. I love olive trees, there are acres of ancient olive trees in the region of Italy I come from. I have a potted olive tree, but it lives outdoors... Yours looks so cute!

  7. What a great idea and such a cute tree. I've never seen an olive tree indoors-sweet
