I was lovin' the look of a tree in this old galvanized cooler...
so I went and bought an olive tree, I grew up on an olive ranch where we had forty acres of olives, it was a great place to play, I thought I would take a chance and see how it would do inside...
I have had it inside for about two weeks now, and it is doing great!!!!
see all that new growth? its grown about 2"!!!
its so cute!!

What a pretty little corner! Your galvanized cooler looked wonderful with a Christmas tree planted in it, and just as lovely with an olive tree. It's a nice piece of family history for you, too.
ReplyDeleteLove olivetrees, but they don`t like it in my house. Have tried four, and they all failed. Hope yours does great.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day
Love it...and it looks perfect in that container...

Oh it's such a cute little thing! I love the galvanized 'planter' -- looks like it has a great, sunny spot and is taking to its new home!
ReplyDeleteI love olive trees, there are acres of ancient olive trees in the region of Italy I come from. I have a potted olive tree, but it lives outdoors... Yours looks so cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea and such a cute tree. I've never seen an olive tree indoors-sweet

ReplyDeleteHi Stephanie, I am looking forward to watching your olive tree grow. Will it have olives on it if you raise it in the house. I don't know much about them. Have a great day. Your Missouri Friend.

What a great little tree and I love the container. My Grandfather had one of these on the truck all through the summer that he drank from.
