Outdoor Wednesday...

Okay, its a bad picture but I took as we were driving... It really says "Welcome to Shaver Lake"
Isn't this sitting area beautiful...
They are made from logs...
and shaped with a chainsaw...
what a talented man...
the view from the deck outside the house we rented...
at the lake a big nest in a dead tree, we never saw who made it...
the lake is so beautiful...and fun...
of course I found a cute shop, the town probably only has 15 buildings...
cute garden area...

this was inside the store, the floor of this room is pea gravel...
We had a really good time, it was 105 in our town, so being in the mountains was sooooo much cooler. We have never stayed here, but I think we might just have to go back. Thank you for visiting me and be sure to hop over to visit our generous host Susan and all the other Outdoor Wednesday participents.

  5. Hi Stefanie, I don't know where this is but it sure reminds me of a place we visited when we went to Wisconsin two summers ago to visit my son. We had a great time there.

  7. What a beautiful place. I love the shape of the benches and the lake is so pretty. So, did you buy anything in that cute little shop? Maybe some 2nd hand clothes for my poor nekked little Pan statue in Amsterdam? ;-)
