Its over, it came so fast and ended so fast!!!!
but it was great!
we had Christmas Eve dinner at our house, just us and my husbands parents...
my daughter set the table, thats when I noticed, she forgot forks...hahaha...isn't that a great tablecloth, I got that at a yard sale, it is from the 50's, still had the tags on it!
I love this China, wish there was a great story behind it, but no, a lady at the shop had it for sale, and I fell in love!
and the LAST of the roses in my pretty vase from my daughter...
time to start pruning those roses!
well the sun is finally shining today, so I am off to take pictures of the kids, since I didn't for Christmas, I think I will send out New Years cards!!!
hope your Christmas was filled with new memories!!!
Your curtains are very pretty, I just had to tell you. Plus the roses and table setting; well done! We had a great meal at our house too.

A very Merry Christmas to you and your family! The table is beautiful - my colors! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteStefanie, your table is beautiful! I can see why you fell in love with your China - and the 50's tablecloth is just perfect. Does the vase pattern match the dishes? And are you saying those roses are from your garden? Oh my gosh, as you saw on my blog, we are buried under snow right now. How I would LOVE to see roses in our yard! I just love your whole dining room - the window with the floral lace curtains. So glad you had a lovely Christmas! Thanks for visiting, Donna
ReplyDeleteThat is the prettiest pink table arrangement...the meal and the company double you pleasure I am sure!!
ReplyDeleteHope you and your family had a Wonderful Christmas and I wish nothing but Happiness and Love for the coming year!! xOxO Nerina
What a lovely table was set...I do love your china story, it is the best and most honest from the heart one I have read...I love your china too.
ReplyDeleteBlessings Kelsie
PS: Maybe your daughter actually forgot the finger bowls not the forks :)
Sounds like it was a wonderful gathering. Absolutely amzing that you found a tabelcloth from the 50's still with tags. What a find! Your daughter is just precious for setting such a lovely table. Forks aren't even needed with some of the traditional meals on this side of the world. :) Wishing you much peace, joy and love today and always. Tammy
ReplyDeleteIt looks so soft and lovely! Simple and just pretty! Love your pink goblets!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
