lovin' chalk paint...

but...who isn't?
I love that you don't have to prime or sand...but I really love how fast it dries...

I found these lazy susans and decided to paint them...and add some French graphics...
(there is sooooo much inspiration out in blog world, where you get great ideas...thanks!)

I then went to the fabulous Graphic's Fairy ...
I printed it out and then used tracing paper with a dull pencil and traced it,
I then flipped it over and used a spoon to burnish it onto the wood,
I then went over it with a small paint brush using burnt umber...

sanded it and sealed it with wax...
easy!!!
I am painting everything!

  13. It turned out great. I always enjoy what a blogger does with paint. I feel sorry for people who have not discovered what paint can do to change something. We who paint do not have to say no to something just because we do not like the color. Oh and as for the cart, I see a cute simple white slip on the inside with ruffles at the top of course.
