hidden path...

I love Spring....
the blooms, the smell, and of course the weather!
my lavender is so big that it is taking over the path...

see my Cecil brunner in the background, I will share her later this week...

this lavender stays green all year, I just buy it at Lowe's or Home Depot...
the card reads "French Lavender" but I have noticed there are different styles that all read that...

here is the path to the door of my craft cottage...

I am going to cut it back along the path and try to dry it,
but I will have to wait till these guys stop working!

I am joining these parties...

It's turned very cold here and rainy. I just put up all my warm clothes and now have to go dig something out!! Boo! Where is spring?

  2. I just died a little when I saw all of that lavender growing! I LOVE lavender. I have a few plants in the ground and quite a few other plants in big galvanized tubs. I think yours is just incredible looking. Thanks for sharing it with us.

  3. I have never seen such beautiful lavender. You must have the perfect climate and soil for it. Can I ask where you live? It has never done very well for me, but I'm almost tempted after seeing yours. I bet it smells wonderful.

  4. Stefanie- I just ordered 25 lavender plants. I have 3 bee hives and they make great lavender honey! Maybe you should consider getting your own hive- it really is alot of fun if you are not afraid of bees.

Your path looks so pretty and I love walking on paths where when you brush up against a plant you get a lovely fragrance surprise!
